Changelog
What we added and what we corrected, newest first. When a source check or a student finds a mistake in an answer key or a guide, we fix it for everyone and list it here.
Textbook audit
Fixed and corrected
- Checked the rules against two standard osteopathic textbooks. Where one of them teaches another version, that version is no longer offered as a wrong answer, and more questions show a No consensus note: sympathetic outflow levels, the liver and pancreas levels, the heart reflex levels, the distal colon, the lumbar facets, an anterior cervical counterstrain point and several bank questions.
- Questions that rest on a convention now name it: the rule of threes for the lower thoracic spine, the muscle energy method for sacral torsions, and standard HVLA.
- Two heel lift questions now state the detail their answer depends on, and the spinal conditions guide adds the exception and the condition.
- Retired the sympathetic range questions for the liver and pancreas, which no longer had enough fair wrong answers. The stomach, gallbladder and spleen questions still teach the same levels.
- Corrected wording in the viscerosomatic, technique, sacrum, innominate, lymphatics and spinal guides.
Review and boards fixes
Added
- Board sheets for ribs, counterstrain, the sacral axes, spinal facets and inhaled rib muscle energy.
- A memory tip for the L5 that goes with each sacral torsion.
Fixed and corrected
- Corrected the sacrum and L5 cases: the extended L5 that some schools pair with a forward torsion is no longer offered as a wrong answer, and those questions now show a No consensus note.
- A miss now has to wait out at least half of its review interval before it moves up, so it can no longer clear in seconds when your exam is close.
- A missed case that fails to load goes back in line instead of disappearing, and a timed block that runs out stays finished.
- Boards pretest results survive a page refresh, and a step with no cases is no longer marked done.
Boards mode
Added
- Boards mode: a 14-step plan for the two weeks before your exam. Topic days start with a short cold pretest, then a board sheet, then a set where misses come back until you get them. Then mixed sets, every miss, a timed block and a last look.
- Sacrum and L5 cases: the L5 that goes with each sacral torsion, and the torsion that goes with each L5.
Fixed and corrected
- Plainer wording across the site and the guides.
Source audit
Added
- Friend codes: a code from a friend opens a free founder checkout.
Fixed and corrected
- Corrected answer keys after a source audit, so a version that reputable sources teach is never marked wrong: three counterstrain positions (AC7, the anterior rib points and the PC4 to PC8 midline points), the liver Chapman point, and the parasympathetic supply of the kidneys and upper ureters. Each now shows a No consensus note.
- Corrected details in several guides and questions after the same audit, including lymphatic pump cautions, upslip timing and rib 2 wording.
- Removed low-yield material from the guides so the board content is easier to find.
- Fonts now load from our own site, so visiting a page sends nothing to Google.
Question bank
Added
- A 183-question bank in five new topics: principles and techniques, spinal conditions and posture, extremities and special tests, cranial and TMJ, and OMT in clinical practice. Every question is checked option by option against its answer key before you see it.
- A new guide: OMT in clinical practice.
Fixed and corrected
- Corrected answer keys so a version some sources teach is never marked wrong: the gallbladder Chapman point, the AC2 to AC6 counterstrain points and the AT7 to AT12 counterstrain points. Each now shows a No consensus note.
- Thirty corrections across the guides after a source audit.
Five new case topics
Added
- Cases for the thoracic and lumbar spine (Fryette naming and treatment), the cervical spine (OA, AA and C2 to C7), inhaled and exhaled ribs (diagnosis, key rib and muscle energy), Chapman points and counterstrain.
- Each new topic has a second, independent solver that has to agree with the answer key before a case is served.
Fixed and corrected
- Corrected the upper ureter viscerosomatic level, and kept the other range some sources give as accepted.
- Corrected the backward torsion muscle energy step and the wording of several anterior thoracic counterstrain points.
- Posterior thoracic counterstrain points are left out of the cases, because sources split on their positions.
- Other muscles some sources use for ribs 2, 11 and 12 are never marked wrong.
Study guides and Anki
Added
- A Learn tab with 22 study guides, five of them free to read without an account: viscerosomatic reflexes, sacral torsions, Fryette, Chapman points and ribs.
- Original figures: a viscerosomatic map, an interactive sacrum, a naming drill, a Chapman chest map and rib motion.
- Export your missed cases to Anki. Importing again updates your cards and keeps your review history.
Corrections signed off by the DO
Added
- A summary at the end of each case that lists every step and reopens the explanations.
Fixed and corrected
- Corrected the exhaled rib muscle energy explanation, which overstated where some muscles attach.
- Corrected the proximal duodenum: a range that belongs to the distal duodenum is no longer listed as another source for it.
- Corrected direct treatment of neutral group curves, which now stay neutral.
- Fixed "Could not load a case" on the first case after a quiet spell.
- Your progress in a case survives a refresh, so a miss cannot be erased by reloading.
Study console
Added
- New pages to plan and track your study: Practice (pick topics and length), Review (your schedule and queue), History (every case, with the answers and the tutor) and Performance (by topic, and your most missed cases).
- Keyboard answers: number keys pick, Enter moves on.
- A sidebar layout on tablets and computers, with two-column cases on wide screens.
Fixed and corrected
- Layout fixes at every screen size, from phones to big monitors.
Viscerosomatic audit
Fixed and corrected
- Corrected the viscerosomatic cases so no wrong answer ever shares a level with a range any reputable source gives.
- Added ranges other sources give for the head and neck, the esophagus and the uterus, so those are never marked wrong.
- The parasympathetic supply of the spleen is no longer asked, because sources disagree.
- Clearer findings and explanations for unilateral sacral flexion and extension, the flexion tests, leg length and the sphinx test.
First version
Added
- The free sacral torsion trainer, no login needed.
- Sacral torsion and viscerosomatic cases built from rules, with a second, independent solver that checks every case before you see it.
- The GOAT, an AI tutor that explains each answer and cannot change it.
- Sign in with Google or an email link.
